Angelina Jolie’s daughter Zahara is going to Spelman College

Zahara Jolie, the 17-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie, is about to begin her first year of college at Atlanta's Spelman College.


The 47-year-old actress shared a picture of "Zahara with her Spelman sisters" on Instagram on Sunday.


The adolescent smiled broadly as he posed in pants and a white t-shirt for the photograph.


Happy new school year to all new students, Jolie said in the description of the social media post. A family member joining Spelman as a new girl is an honor and a very unique place.

The 1881-founded Spelman College is a "historically black college and a global pioneer in the education of women of African origin," according to their website


Jolie, who is also the mother of the twins Knox and Vivienne, 14, Maddox, 20, Pax, 18, Shiloh, 16, and Pax and Shiloh, also 20, recounted her oldest son's experience when he entered at Yonsei University in South Korea in August 2019.

In the midst of their tense relationship, he commented in September 2019, "Well, whatever happens, happens."

In September 2016, Jolie and her "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" co-star called it quits.

The former couple's legal struggle is still going on even after they were officially pronounced single over three years ago.

The exes are still fighting for custody since Judge John Ouderkirk was later removed from the case for failing to disclose his financial ties with Pitt's lawyers.
